Brothers and SiStars, the skies are calling us into profound alignment this month. On Wednesday, July 29, 2026, the Full Moon reaches peak illumination at approximately 9:36 a.m. Central Daylight Time (10:36 a.m. EDT / 14:36 UTC).
This is no ordinary Full Moon. It rises in the fixed air sign of Aquarius (around 6°–6°30′ Aquarius), opposite the Sun in Leo. The Moon is tightly conjunct transformational Pluto in Aquarius, while the Sun is conjunct expansive Jupiter in Leo. This creates one of the most potent polarities of the year: individual sovereignty and radiant heart-expression (Leo) facing the collective, the future, and deep systemic rebirth (Aquarius + Pluto). Conjunct means next to/near & therefore amplifying the energies of both planets in the same sign - the sun and moon are considered planets in astrology.
Unlike planets, the Lunar Nodes are mathematical points where the Moon’s orbit crosses the Earth's path around the Sun. They always operate as an opposing pair:
The North Node (Dragon's Head): Represents your future path, growth, and the lessons that feel challenging but ultimately fulfill your destiny.
The South Node (Dragon's Tail): Represents your past lives, ingrained patterns, and comfort zones that you need to step away from or release.
The North Node has only recently entered Aquarius (around July 26), amplifying themes of progressive evolution, community, and liberation from outdated structures for the next 18+ months.
The South Node in Leo acts as the anchor to this 18-month cycle, showing us exactly what toxic habits, comfort zones, and ego traps we need to outgrow so the Aquarius North Node can flourish.
Think of it as a cosmic balancing act: you cannot fully step into the future (Aquarius) until you clean up your relationship with the past (Leo).
The Shadow Side of Leo We Must Leave Behind
During this transit, the universe is putting a strict boundary on the dark side of Leo energy. We are collectively being pushed to release:
Clout-Chasing and Ego Trips: Craving constant validation, likes, applause, or center-stage attention just to feel worthy.
The "Main Character" Syndrome: Becoming so self-absorbed with our own drama, creative expression, or pride that we forget about the people around us.
Rigid Stubbornness: Leo is a fixed fire sign, which can manifest as an over-inflated pride that refuses to admit fault or adapt to changing times.
How Leo Balances Aquarius (The Ultimate Formula)
This transit is not about deleting your inner Leo; it is about repurposing it.
From the Leo South Node Trap......To the Aquarius North Node Goal:
From needing to be worshipped by the crowd to figuring out how to serve the crowd
From hoarding the spotlight for personal fame to sharing the spotlight to uplift a community
From feeding the individual ego to powering the collective evolution

Why “Buck Moon”? Cultural & Traditional Names
In the Algonquin and other Northeastern Native American traditions recorded and popularized by colonial sources (and later the Farmer’s Almanac), July’s Full Moon is the Buck Moon because male deer (bucks) are in the height of antler growth — soft, velvet-covered, and rapidly expanding. It symbolizes strength, renewal, and the visible emergence of power.
Other names across cultures and regions include:
Thunder Moon (frequent summer storms)
Hay Moon or Mead Moon (European harvest and honey-fermentation season)
Raspberry Moon or Berry Moon (Ojibwe/Algonquin — peak berry ripening)
Salmon Moon (Tlingit and Pacific Northwest peoples — salmon runs)
Halfway Summer Moon or Mid-Summer Moon
In some Hindu traditions around this lunar timing: Guru Purnima energy of honoring teachers
In certain Buddhist contexts: Dharma Day / Asalha Puja resonances of first teachings
In cosmic and shamanic consciousness, many modern practitioners also call this the Star-Seed Moon, Water-Bearer’s Revelation Moon, or Galactic Liberation Moon — a time when the veils thin between personal identity and the larger cosmic network of consciousness.
Astrological & Metaphysical Meaning
Aquarius is the visionary, the rebel, the humanitarian, the inventor, the one who pours living waters of knowledge for the collective. A Full Moon here illuminates what has been hidden in our relationship to belonging, freedom, technology, community, and the future of humanity. With Pluto conjunct the Moon, this is not gentle illumination — it is excavating. Buried power dynamics, collective shadows, control systems, and suppressed truths rise for transformation.
The opposition to Sun-Jupiter in Leo asks:
Where do I shine as an individual while still serving the whole? Where have I given my power away, or where have I used it to dominate?
Collectively, expect revelations around systems of power, truth emerging from the underworld of society, and a push toward more authentic community structures.
Individually, it catalyzes radical honesty about where we have been conforming, isolating, or performing instead of embodying our unique frequency.
What to Call In
Authentic community and soul-aligned collaborations
Innovative solutions and future-oriented visions
Personal freedom without abandoning connection

What to Release
Emotional detachment that has become isolation
Outdated group loyalties or people-pleasing
Fear of being “too different”
Control patterns and power struggles

Herbs
Lavender
Magical/energetic properties: Peace, purification, mental clarity, emotional balance, protection, and gentle release of tension. It softens intensity without dulling awareness.
Why for this Moon: Aquarius energy can feel mentally charged or detached; lavender calms the nervous system and heart while keeping the visionary mind open. It helps integrate the emotional depth of the Pluto-Moon conjunction without overwhelm. Excellent for baths, sachets, or burning as incense.
Rosemary
Magical/energetic: Clarity, memory, purification, protection, mental strength, and banishing stagnation. Traditionally linked to the Sun and fire, it also has strong air qualities.
Why for this Moon: Supports the Leo side of the axis (radiant self-expression and courage) while clearing mental fog so Aquarian insights can land clearly. Use as a smudge alternative, in bath blends, or as a tea for focus during ritual or journaling.
Sage (common garden sage or ethically sourced alternatives)
Magical/energetic: Purification, wisdom, protection, longevity, and clearing stagnant or lower-vibrational energy.
Why for this Moon: Full Moons are classic times for energetic clearing. With Pluto amplifying buried material, sage helps release collective and personal residue so new Aquarian visions can take root. Prefer garden sage or other local purifying herbs if white sage feels culturally sensitive for your circle.
Frankincense (resin)
Magical/energetic: Purification, spiritual elevation, protection, meditation support, connection to higher realms, and consecration. Ancient temple incense.
Why for this Moon: Elevates the vibration during a highly charged lunation. It supports the shift from dense Plutonian material into clearer Aquarian consciousness and helps hold sacred space for group work.
Myrrh (resin)
Magical/energetic: Purification, spiritual awareness, healing of grief, connection to deeper mysteries, consecration, and ancestral/transformational work. Often paired with frankincense.
Why for this Moon: Complements frankincense by adding depth and grounding to the purification process. Supports the Pluto themes of death/rebirth and the release of old emotional patterns.
Patchouli
Magical/energetic: Grounding, manifestation, attraction of abundance, sensual embodiment, and earth connection.
Why for this Moon: Aquarius can float into pure mind; patchouli brings the energy back into the body so visions can be embodied rather than remaining abstract. Useful in oil blends or as dried herb in sachets.
Anise / Star Anise
Magical/energetic: Psychic awareness, protection, purification, mental stimulation, and clarity of vision. Star anise especially carries star-like symbolism.
Why for this Moon: Amplifies Aquarian themes of higher insight, intuition, and connection to the “starry” or cosmic mind. Supportive for divination, meditation, or receiving downloads under this Moon.
Violet
Magical/energetic: Soothing, spiritual connection, protection, gentle heart opening, and quiet strength.
Why for this Moon: Softens the more detached or intellectual edge of Aquarius while supporting emotional release. Aligns with the water-bearer symbolism of pouring healing and compassion.
Peppermint
Magical/energetic: Mental clarity, purification, stimulation, protection, and clearing of energetic blockages. Strong air/mercury associations.
Why for this Moon: Sharpens the mind and clears mental congestion so Aquarian insights land cleanly. Excellent for focus during ritual or for clearing the space energetically.
Blue Lotus (Nymphaea caerulea, where ethically and legally available)
Magical/energetic: Higher consciousness, meditation support, lucid dreaming, mild euphoria, spiritual opening, rebirth, and connection to divine or ancestral realms. Historically sacred in Egyptian tradition as a symbol of the rising sun and consciousness emerging from the depths.
Why for this Moon: Supports the visionary, higher-mind, and cosmic-remembrance qualities of Aquarius while gently easing the intensity of Pluto. Beautiful for meditation, dream work, or as a ceremonial tea (use responsibly and know your source).
Essential Oils
Most of the oils are the distilled or concentrated expressions of the herbs above, so they carry concentrated versions of the same properties and are used for diffusion, anointing, or diluted topical application.
Frankincense oil: Spiritual elevation, purification, meditation support, and emotional calming. Excellent for anointing the third eye or crown, or diffusing.
Lavender oil: Peace, emotional balance, purification, and nervous-system soothing. Helps one stay centered amid intense lunar energy.
Rosemary oil: Mental clarity, focus, purification, and protective strength. Supports clear thinking and the Leo courage to express what is revealed.
Sandalwood oil: Meditation, grounding spirituality, calm, and heart-mind integration. Bridges the airy Aquarian mind with deeper presence; often used for sacred space and anointing.
Peppermint oil: Mental stimulation, clarity, and energetic clearing. Use sparingly to awaken focus without overstimulating.
Violet leaf oil: Soothing, cooling, and gently strengthening to the nervous system. Supports emotional release and quiet spiritual connection.
Why these specifically for this Full Moon?
They address the core needs of an Aquarius Full Moon conjunct Pluto opposite Sun-Jupiter in Leo:
Clear and elevate the mind (Aquarius + air element)
Support deep release and transformation without collapse (Pluto)
Ground and embody the insights (so they don’t stay purely mental)
Soften emotional intensity while keeping the heart open (Leo polarity)
You can work with these essential oils as single allies or in simple blends (for example: frankincense + lavender + a touch of peppermint for clarity and elevation; or sandalwood + violet + lavender for grounded heart opening). Or if you feel called you could create a custom blend of electric blue-toned oils for the Aquarius air energy. Always dilute essential oils properly for skin use, and choose high-quality, ethically sourced materials.
Frequencies & Sound Healing
963 Hz (divine connection / pineal activation)
852 Hz (intuition & spiritual order)
741 Hz (detox of emotional patterns)
Solfeggio 528 Hz for transformation
Vocal toning: sustained “Ah” (heart-throat bridge), “Oo” (deep release), and high clear “Ee” or “I” tones for Aquarian clarity. Chant or tone in groups to create a living sound field.
Somatic Breathwork
Practice coherent breathing (5–6 seconds inhale / 5–6 seconds exhale) while visualizing electric blue or violet light moving through the spine and out the crown.
Alternate with breath of fire for short bursts to clear stagnant energy, then long, slow exhalations to release.
Lie on the earth or sit with spine straight and feel the antler-like growth of your own energy field expanding upward.
Acupuncture / Acupressure Points
Large Intestine 4 (Hegu) — release
Conception Vessel 17 (Shanzhong / heart center) — open authentic connection
Governing Vessel 20 (Baihui) — crown activation & higher vision
Kidney 1 (Yongquan) — ground while reaching for the stars
Gallbladder 20 or 21 for tension release around the neck/shoulders (where we “carry” collective weight)
EFT / Tapping Scripts (sample)
“Even though I have felt separate / controlled / unseen in the collective… I deeply and completely love and accept myself. I release the need to conform. I claim my unique frequency. I allow my light to serve the whole without diminishing myself. I am free. I am connected. I am sovereign.” Tap through the points while speaking truthfully.
Qigong Moves
Opening the Arms of the Water Bearer (slow, expansive arm circles drawing energy in and pouring it out)
Shaking the Tree (release stagnant energy)
Standing meditation with arms raised in a V (receiving stellar downloads)
Circling the Ball of Light in front of the heart, then expanding it outward to the group field
Mantras
“I am a unique note in the cosmic symphony.”
“My freedom uplifts the whole.”
“I release what no longer serves the evolution of consciousness.”
Sanskrit option: “Om Mani Padme Hum” or a simple “So Hum” with Aquarian visualization.
Yantras & Mudras
Meditate on a six-pointed star or geometric water-bearer yantra.
Use Gyan Mudra (wisdom) or a modified open-palmed Water Bearer mudra (hands cupped as if pouring).
Yoga Poses
Warrior III or Half Moon (balance & independence)
Tree Pose with arms reaching up like antlers
Camel or Fish Pose (heart opening)
Seated forward folds for release, and inversions or headstand variations if appropriate (shift perspective)
End in Savasana with hands open to receive.
Witchy & Shamanic Rituals
1. Circle Casting under the rising Full Moon (evening of the 29th) — call in the directions with Aquarian intention: East for new vision, South for passionate truth, West for emotional liberation, North for grounded community, Above for galactic allies, Below for ancestral roots.
2. Release Fire or Water Ceremony — write what you release on biodegradable paper and burn or dissolve in water under the moonlight.
3. Antler or Deer Medicine Meditation — if you work with animal spirits, invite the Buck/Deer as a teacher of gentle power, regeneration, and sensitivity.
4. Crystal Grid for the circle: place Clear Quartz points outward in a star pattern with Amethyst and Labradorite at the center.
5. Sound Bath + Group Toning followed by silent reception of downloads.
6. Oracle or Tarot pull focused on “What wants to be born through me for the collective?”
Journal Prompts
These prompts help bridge the gap between Leo's personal expression and Aquarius's collective mindset.
Prompt 1 (The Ego Check): "In what areas of my life am I chasing external validation or 'applause' instead of acting from authentic fulfillment?"
Prompt 2 (The Community Shift): "How can I take my unique, Leo-style talents and creative gifts and use them to uplift a community, cause, or group (Aquarius)?"
Prompt 3 (The Rebel Audit): "Where am I hiding my true, quirky, unconventional self (Aquarius) just to fit in or keep the peace with others?"
Planetary Influences Amplifying This Moon
Moon conjunct Pluto in Aquarius: deep emotional excavation and collective power shifts.
Sun conjunct Jupiter in Leo: expanded confidence, generosity, and creative expression opposite the above.
Recent North Node shift into Aquarius: long-term evolutionary push toward progressive, community-oriented growth.
Ongoing outer-planet dynamics (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto aspects) creating a broader climate of awakening and structural change.
The bright Full Moon will also wash out many fainter meteors from the approaching Southern Delta Aquariids and Alpha Capricornids peaks (around July 30–31), yet the brightest fireballs may still break through — a beautiful metaphor for the truths that cannot be dimmed.
Brothers and SiStars, this Buck Moon asks us to grow our spiritual antlers — soft yet strong, regenerative, and uniquely our own — while remaining connected to the herd of awakened humanity.
Stand in your sovereignty.
Pour your gifts.
Release the old scripts.
Remember who you are beyond the programming.
We are the Water Bearers.
We are the ones we have been waiting for.
In cosmic unity and grounded magic, may this Full Moon illuminate your highest self and the path of collective liberation.
One Earth, One People, One Love,
