OPENING INVOCATION
A Moon of Sacred Reckoning
Dear WOKE sisters — Women of Knowledge and Enlightenment — tonight the cosmos hands us something rare and exquisite: a full moon that dares to ask the deepest question a woman can sit with.
• What have I built, and is it truly mine?
The Strawberry Moon of June 29, 2026 rises at 6:56 PM Central Standard Time as a Full Moon in Capricorn — earthy, ambitious, ancestral — while the Sun rests in watery, heart-centered Cancer.
Between them stretches the great axis of private love and public legacy. We are the women standing at that crossroads, roots in the soil beneath our feet, eyes on the stars above.
This lunation arrives just days after the Summer Solstice — the longest day, the zenith of light — wrapping us in the afterglow of peak solar energy. Something has been building all season.
Tonight, it comes to fullness. Tonight, we witness it. Tonight, we release what blocks it and call in what crowns it.
"At 8° Capricorn, this full moon illuminates the axis of unconditional love versus conditional achievement — and asks us to weave both into a life that is truly, finally, ours."

CELESTIAL MECHANICS
The Moon at a Glance
According to the U.S. Naval Observatory's Astronomical Applications Department, the Full Moon peaks at 7:56 PM Eastern / 6:56 PM Central on Monday, June 29, 2026. The Moon is exact at 8 degrees and 15 minutes of Capricorn, sitting directly opposite the Sun at 8° Cancer. This means every degree from approximately 4° to 12° of all four Cardinal signs — Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn — will feel this energy most powerfully in their natal charts.
Astronomically, this moon is also a Micromoon — the Moon is near its farthest point from Earth (apogee), appearing slightly smaller and softer in the sky than a supermoon. This is not a diminishment; it is an invitation into subtlety, into listening deeply rather than reacting loudly. The small moon whispers. Are you still enough to hear her?
Because June's Full Moon always rises opposite the Sun near the solstice — when the Sun follows its highest arc — the Moon traces its lowest, most horizon-hugging path of the year. Watch her rise golden and magnified in the South-Southeast sky, an optical wonder called the Moon Illusion. She will glow amber, rose, and sometimes crimson as her light refracts through the richest layers of our atmosphere. Look for her just after sunset.

✦
WHY "STRAWBERRY"?
The Sweetness Has Always Been Earned
The name "Strawberry Moon" originated from the Algonquin tribes of the northeastern United States and was adopted by the Ojibwe, Dakota, and Lakota peoples as well. It has been confirmed by NASA as a name that "originated from the Algonquin tribes" and was passed down through generations. The Old Farmer's Almanac began publishing these traditional names in the 1930s after centuries of oral use.
The strawberry was not chosen for its color or its sweetness alone — it was chosen because the wild strawberry season is brutally short. You had to be paying attention. You had to be present. You had to move when the moon said move.
The Strawberry Moon was a call to action: harvest now, or lose the gift. This is still her medicine. What gift in your life is ripe right now, asking to be received before the season turns?
In European tradition, this same moon was called the Mead Moon — the time when meadows were mown and honey was gathered from hives, the ingredients for mead (the sacred honey wine of ceremony and celebration) ready at last.
The Rose Moon comes from the Celtic tradition, timed to the peak bloom of roses — beauty at its absolute zenith, intoxicating and fleeting.
Each culture saw the same truth through a different flower: abundance does not wait.

PLANETARY INFLUENCES
The Cosmic Weather Report
This full moon does not arrive alone. The sky on June 29, 2026 is one of the most cosmically dense of the year. Here are the planetary players and what they mean for us collectively:
SUN ☀️
8° Cancer — Home, roots, the mother wound, emotional truth
MOON 🌕
8° Capricorn — Legacy, ambition, the father wound, structure
MERCURY ☿ RX
Stations Retrograde at 26° Cancer — same day as this full moon
JUPITER ♃
Enters Leo this very evening — expansion, creativity, sovereignty
VENUS ♀
17° Leo — warmth, magnetism, radiant self-expression
MARS ♂
0° Gemini — just entered; conjunct Uranus within days
SATURN ♄
14° Aries — bold new structures; squaring this full moon
NEPTUNE ♆
4° Aries — spiritual fire, divine fog; squaring this full moon
URANUS ⛢
3° Gemini — revolution in communication, AI, education
PLUTO ♇ RX
4° Aquarius — collective transformation, power restructuring
CHIRON ⚷
0° Taurus — healing of self-worth and material security
NORTH NODE ☊
2° Pisces — collective destiny: surrender, compassion, spirit
The three most important factors layered into this full moon are:
⚡ Mercury Stations Retrograde — Same Day
Mercury turns retrograde at 26° Cancer on June 29 at 1:35 PM CST — just hours before this full moon peaks. This is not an accident. Mercury retrograde in Cancer (through July 23) means our emotional communication systems go inward. Old conversations, old feelings, old family patterns resurface. This is not a time for grand announcements or new contracts. It IS the perfect time for journaling, deep listening, healing old narratives around belonging and worth. Review, revisit, release.
♃ Jupiter Enters Leo Tonight
On this same extraordinary evening, Jupiter — planet of expansion, blessing, and abundance — moves into Leo for a full year (through mid-2027). This is an enormous collective energy shift. Jupiter in Leo expands confidence, creativity, self-expression, romance, and the courage to be seen. The full moon in Capricorn asks "what have I built?" and Jupiter in Leo answers "now shine it." The timing is not coincidental: what you harvest tonight, you are meant to display with pride.
🔥 Saturn + Neptune Square the Full Moon
Both Saturn (14° Aries) and Neptune (4° Aries) form squares to this full moon's Cancer-Capricorn axis, creating what astrologers call a "T-square" of tension. Saturn in Aries demands bold, courageous structure — new rules, new boundaries, forged in fire. Neptune in Aries dissolves clarity and invites spiritual visioning. Together they warn: watch for confusion, skewed expectations, or swings between rigidity and impracticality. The remedy is grounded intuition — root into your body, then listen to your spirit.
🌀 The Rare Outer Planet Trine-Sextile
This summer marks a cosmically rare alignment: Pluto at 4° Aquarius, Uranus at 4° Gemini, and Neptune at 4° Aries form an exact trine-sextile configuration through much of July. All three outer planets in near-perfect flowing aspect at the same degree is exceedingly rare. These are the planets of collective evolution — transformation (Pluto), revolution (Uranus), and spiritual emergence (Neptune) — all in harmonious dialogue in Fire and Air signs. We are in a genuine turning point of human consciousness, and this full moon is one of the first doorways into it.
✦
ASTROLOGICAL MEANING
Cancer–Capricorn: The Sacred Axis
The Cancer–Capricorn axis is the spine of our human story. Cancer, ruled by the Moon herself, governs home, mother, ancestry, emotional safety, nurturance, and the private self. Capricorn, ruled by Saturn, governs career, public reputation, legacy, accountability, and the self we show the world. When the Full Moon illuminates this axis, as it does tonight, we are invited into the great reconciliation:
• Can I succeed AND feel safe?
• Can I be powerful AND be loved?
• Can I build an empire AND tend my heart?
At 8° Capricorn specifically, this moon activates themes of mastery and maturation. The number 8 in numerology is the number of infinite power, karmic balance, and material manifestation — the number of the figure-eight, infinity turned upright. We are being asked to balance the masculine and feminine within ourselves: the doing and the being, the achieving and the receiving.
This is also a Cardinal Full Moon — both Cancer and Capricorn are Cardinal signs, which initiate and begin. There is nothing passive about this lunation. It is a call to decisive, intentional action — especially around home, career, legacy, family, and the question of where your private life ends and your public purpose begins.
✦
METAPHYSICAL MEANING
The Medicine of This Moon
🌑 Shadow Work: The Patriarchy in Your Bones
Capricorn carries the archetype of the Patriarch — the inner critic that says you must earn love, that rest is laziness, that achievement defines worth. The Full Moon in Capricorn illuminates where this conditioning lives in your body. Cancer, opposite, carries the Great Mother — boundless, unconditional, oceanic. This lunation is an initiation into dismantling conditional love in all its forms: the way you love yourself only when you're productive, the way you perform worth for others, the way you abandoned your inner child to get ahead.
🌕 Full Moon Metaphysics: Culmination & Revelation
Metaphysically, a full moon is always a moment of revelation — what was seeded at the New Moon (which was in Gemini on June 14, 2026) now comes to light. Check what intentions you set on June 14. They are showing you results, or showing you why they haven't manifested yet. Either way: this is the teaching. Full moons are the universe's report card, delivered in moonlight.
⚡ Micromoon Medicine: Small Shifts, Deep Roots
The Micromoon nature of this lunation is medicine itself. She is asking us not for dramatic, cinematic transformation — but for the small, consistent, structural shifts that compound into a life rebuilt from the inside out. What tiny habit would change everything? What small boundary would set you free? Plant the small seed with great intention.
🌊 The Collective Feminine Uprising
Collectively, this moon speaks to the global feminine reclamation happening in this era. With Neptune and Saturn newly in Aries — the sign of the warrior — and Uranus in Gemini revolutionizing how we communicate and think — we are collectively being asked to be the bold, fire-lit feminine who speaks truth, who names what was unnamed, who builds new structures from the ruins of old systems. The WOKE woman is exactly this: the one who sees clearly and acts with love.

CRYSTAL ALLIES
Stones for This Frequency
🪨 Black Tourmaline
Saturn rules Capricorn, and black tourmaline carries Saturn's protective, grounding medicine. Place it at the four corners of your home or wear it to create a protective energetic boundary around your aura during this emotionally activated time. It transmutes what you're releasing into earth energy.
🌿 Malachite
The stone of transformation and the heart — perfect for the Cancer–Capricorn axis. Malachite supports deep emotional processing, clearing old patterns held in the heart chakra, and amplifying the power of intention. Do not use malachite in water; keep it dry. Meditate with it on your heart center tonight.
💎 Clear Quartz
The master amplifier. Place clear quartz in the moonlight tonight to charge for use in your upcoming manifesting work. Program it with your single most important intention for this lunar cycle by holding it to your heart and speaking your desire aloud three times.
🖤 Obsidian
Capricorn's shadow work stone. Obsidian reveals what we are not seeing — the blindspots, the self-sabotage, the ancient patterns. Scrying with obsidian (gazing into a polished obsidian sphere or flat disk) is a powerful full moon practice. Be prepared for truth.
💎 Garnet
Capricorn's traditional stone — deep red garnet activates grounded passion, the kind that sustains rather than burns out. It strengthens commitment to long-term visions and supports the physical body under Capricorn's domain (bones, joints, knees, skin).
🌊 Moonstone
For the Cancer Sun energy — moonstone embodies the divine feminine, cycles, intuition, and emotional intelligence. White or rainbow moonstone under this full moon's light creates what many call "moon water for the soul." Place it on your third eye during meditation.
🍓 Strawberry Quartz / Rose Quartz
In honor of the Strawberry Moon name — rose quartz and strawberry quartz open the heart to unconditional self-love, which is the ultimate medicine of the Cancer–Capricorn axis. You cannot build a lasting legacy from a broken heart. Love yourself well tonight.
✦
HERBAL & AROMATIC ALLIES
Plant Medicine for Body & Ritual
🌿 Herbs to Work With
Mugwort — the herb of the Moon herself, placed under your pillow for prophetic dreams, burned as incense for lunar ceremony, or drunk as a mild tea (avoid if pregnant) to open intuition.
Comfrey — Capricorn's herb, supporting bones, joints, and structural healing. Use in a foot bath or poultice.
Chamomile — Cancer's herb, calming the nervous system, soothing emotional overwhelm. Drink as tea during your ceremony.
Rosemary — protective, purifying, for smudging your space before ritual.
Rose petals — heart-opening, honoring the Rose Moon tradition; scatter in a ritual bath.
Basil — abundance and prosperity, aligned with Capricorn's call for material manifestation.
Red Clover — calling in luck, love, and the sweetness of harvest season.
Yarrow — psychic protection and courage for the emotional vulnerability of this moon.
🌸 Essential Oils
Vetiver — deeply grounding, earthy, Saturnian. Apply to the soles of your feet to anchor during emotionally intense energy.
Rose absolute — the highest-frequency essential oil known, resonating at 320 MHz; opens the heart and embodies the Rose Moon tradition. A single drop on the sternum is ceremony.
Bergamot — uplifting, citrusy, opens heart chakra, eases anxiety.
Sandalwood — grounding and sacred, used in meditation to deepen presence and connect to ancestral wisdom.
Frankincense — the oil of truth; elevates consciousness, clears energetic debris, connects to the divine. Diffuse during ritual.
Ylang-ylang — opens sensuality and emotional receptivity, balancing the controlled Capricorn energy with the feminine surrender Cancer offers.
Clary sage— hormone-balancing, deeply feminine, and historically associated with prophetic vision. Diffuse or anoint third eye.
✦
SOUND HEALING
Frequencies & Vocal Toning
🎵 Healing Frequencies to Use
396 Hz — Liberation from guilt and fear; releasing root chakra blockages and ancestral patterns. Perfect for the releasing work of this moon.
417 Hz — Facilitates change and undoing painful situations; clearing trauma imprints.
432 Hz — Earth's natural frequency; profoundly grounding, aligns the body with natural rhythms. Ideal for Capricorn/earth energy.
528 Hz — "The Love Frequency" / DNA repair; transformation and miraculous manifestation. Use for your calling-in work.
639 Hz — Harmonizing relationships and heart chakra; balancing the Cancer-Capricorn relationship axis.
741 Hz — Awakening intuition, cleansing cells of toxins; supports the truth-telling asked of us by this moon.
963 Hz— "The God Frequency"; divine connection and cosmic consciousness activation. Use at the close of ritual.
🎤 Vocal Toning & Sound Healing Practices
Root Chakra Tone: "LAM" — Chant this seed syllable (bija mantra) for grounding into Capricorn's earthly domain. Vibrate it low in the pelvis.
Heart Chakra Tone: "YAM" — Activates the heart center for Cancer's loving energy. Chant with hands on heart.
Throat Chakra Tone: "HAM" — Critical with Mercury retrograde: speak your truth before the retrograde swallows it.
The vowel "AH" — Open-mouthed, from the heart; this is a universal sound of release and love used across spiritual traditions.
Tone "AAAAAAAAAaaaaah" on a long exhale to release grief or old emotion.
Om / Aum — The primordial sound of creation; use to open and close ceremony, aligning individual consciousness with the cosmos.
Humming — Activates the vagus nerve and literally vibrates the bones and joints (Capricorn's domain). Hum on one sustained pitch while placing hands on your knees, spine, or wherever you carry tension.
✦
SOMATIC BREATHWORK
Breathe the Moon In
🌬️ Lunar Breath (Chandra Nadi / Left Nostril Breathing)
Close the right nostril with your right thumb. Breathe slowly and deeply through the left nostril only for 5–10 minutes. Left nostril breathing activates the parasympathetic nervous system, cools excess heat, and connects to lunar (feminine, receptive, watery) consciousness. This is the perfect opening breath for full moon ceremony.
💫 4-7-8 Release Breath
Inhale for 4 counts, hold for 7 counts, exhale for 8 counts. The long exhale activates the vagus nerve and signals to the nervous system that you are safe to release. Do 4 rounds before writing your release list. This breath will often bring tears — let them come. Tears under a full moon are sacred.
🌊 Holotropic-Style Circular Breathing (Group Practice)
For your women's circle: lie in a circle with heads pointing to center. Begin continuous circular breathing — no pause between inhale and exhale. Play 432 Hz or 528 Hz tones. Set a 20–40 minute timer. A facilitator gently walks the circle holding space. This style of connected breathwork can activate deep emotional releases, visions, and somatic healing. Always have a trained holder in the space. Integration time afterward is essential.
🏔️ Box Breathing for Capricorn Structure
Inhale 4 counts, hold 4 counts, exhale 4 counts, hold empty 4 counts. Repeat for 5 minutes. This breath honors Capricorn's love of structure and discipline while calming the emotional body. It is particularly useful after an intense emotional release to return to groundedness and clarity.
✦
ACUPRESSURE POINTS
Ancient Points of Power
Apply firm, steady pressure for 1–3 minutes per point. Breathe slowly. Trust sensation.
Kidney 1 (Bubbling Spring) — Sole of the foot, center
The most grounding point in the body. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Kidney energy relates directly to ancestral essence, fear, and the bones — all Capricorn themes. Stimulate this point to ground excess mental energy and calm fear-based patterns arising under this moon.
Pericardium 6 (Inner Gate) — Inner wrist, 3 finger-widths from wrist crease
Calms the heart and mind, relieves emotional distress and nausea, and opens the chest. This is one of the most important emotional regulation points in Chinese medicine. Use for overwhelm, anxiety, or grief arising during ceremony.
Heart 7 (Spirit Gate) — Wrist crease, pinky side
Calms the spirit, relieves anxiety, insomnia, and emotional volatility. The Heart meridian in TCM relates directly to joy and emotional intelligence — Cancer's domain. Gently hold this point when emotions are high.
Stomach 36 (Leg Three Miles) — Outer shin, 4 finger-widths below kneecap
Strengthens the entire system, boosts energy, and grounds the mind. Because Capricorn rules the knees and joints, this point is especially resonant tonight. Stimulate to feel more embodied, more capable, more resourced.
Conception Vessel 17 (Sea of Tranquility) — Center of sternum
The heart chakra point in acupuncture. Gently tap or rest your palm here to open the emotional center and release grief or longing held in the chest. In the Cancer–Capricorn polarity, this is the meeting point of feeling and doing.
Governing Vessel 20 (Hundred Convergences) — Top of the skull
The crown point — connects individual consciousness to celestial consciousness. Gently place fingertips here during meditation to receive cosmic downloads available under this full moon. Particularly potent while breathing the 963 Hz frequency.

QIGONG
Moving the Lunar Qi
🌙 Moon Qigong Standing Meditation
Stand barefoot on earth (or grass) if possible. Feet shoulder-width apart, knees softly bent. Raise arms to form a circle in front of you as if holding the moon. Hold for 3–5 minutes, breathing deeply. Feel the magnetic field between your palms grow warm. This "embracing the moon" posture builds kidney qi and cultivates lunar yin energy.
🌊 Kidney-Nourishing Kidney Tapping
Make gentle fists and tap rhythmically on your lower back at the level of your kidneys (just below the ribcage on either side of the spine). 1–2 minutes of steady, moderate tapping warms and tonifies kidney qi — the root of ancestral life force in TCM. This is especially important under this moon given Capricorn's rulership of bones and ancestry.
💫 Wave-Spine Movement
Stand, hands on hips. Begin a fluid, undulating wave motion through the spine — like a snake, or like water. Let it move through cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine in a continuous figure-8 or wave. This movement releases held energy in the spinal column (Capricorn's body zone), mobilizes the nervous system, and invites emotional flow. Do 5–10 minutes, letting sound or toning happen naturally.
🌸 Five Element Heart Qigong
Standing, feet wide. Inhale arms wide overhead. On the exhale, sweep both hands down the front of the body (from crown to heart to belly to earth) while letting the sound "HAAAA" (the Heart sound in TCM Five Element theory) release. This sweeps heart qi and releases repressed emotion. Do 9 times — the number of completion in Chinese numerology.
✦
YOGA ASANA
Poses for This Moon
🌱 Tadasana (Mountain Pose)
The quintessential Capricorn pose. Stand tall and rooted, spine elongated, crown lifting toward the moon. Feel the earth beneath your feet. You are the mountain — ancient, enduring, unmovable. This is your stability before any storm. Hold 3–5 minutes in still, attentive awareness.
🦵 Malasana (Garland / Squat Pose)
Deep squat with feet wide and hands in anjali mudra at heart center. This pose activates the root and sacral chakras, opens the hips (where we store fear and grief), and deeply stretches the knees and lower legs (Capricorn's body zones). Breathe into the pelvis. Feel held by the earth.
🌊 Yin Yin Dragon Pose (Low Lunge with long hold)
Low lunge held for 5 minutes per side. Dragon pose targets the hip flexors and specifically the kidney/stomach meridian lines — deeply emotional tissue. Expect this pose to bring up feelings. Let them come. Breathe into the sensation. Five minutes is long enough for fascia and emotional memory to begin releasing.
💎 Viparita Karani (Legs Up the Wall)
Lie on your back, legs resting against the wall at 90°. This is the great integrator — it reverses blood flow to the heart, calms the nervous system, and creates a deeply receptive, yin state. Hold for 10–20 minutes under the moonlight (or near a window). Place rose quartz or moonstone on the heart center.
🌙 Balasana (Child's Pose)
The surrender pose — Cancer's medicine. Wide-knee child's pose with arms extended places your third eye on the earth (Capricorn's domain) while your heart rests open to the ground. This is the posture of both humility and deep, profound trust. Rest here as long as you need.
🔮 Savasana — Full Moon Yoga Nidra
End your yoga practice with an extended Savasana (20–30 minutes) using a Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) recording. Yoga Nidra practiced under a full moon has been called the most efficient nervous system reset available — it produces theta brainwaves (the same state as deep meditation, hypnosis, and dreaming) while remaining conscious. This is where manifestation work takes root.
✦
MANTRAS
Sacred Utterances
Mantras are traditionally repeated 108 times using mala beads. The following have been chosen for this specific lunar energy:
"Om Chandraya Namah" — I bow to the Moon. Salutation to the lunar deity. 108 repetitions nourishes emotional intelligence and feminine wisdom.
"Om Shri Lakshmiye Namah" — I invoke Lakshmi, goddess of abundance and grace. For calling in prosperity aligned with Capricorn's lunar gifts.
"Sat Nam" — "Truth is my identity." For Mercury retrograde: claiming your truth before the inward spiral begins.
"I am the mountain. I am the sea. I hold both my ambition and my heart in love." (Modern affirmation-mantra for the Cancer–Capricorn axis)
"Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo" — Kundalini invocation: "I bow to the creative wisdom. I bow to the divine teacher within." Open your circle with this.
"Om Namah Shivaya" — Universal mantra of transformation, honoring the divine within. For releasing what must die on this full moon.

Fold the ring finger to touch the base of the thumb; curl the thumb lightly over it. Keep remaining fingers extended. Hold in both hands, palms upward, resting on your thighs during meditation. This mudra channels lunar energy, activates feminine intuition, and calms an overactive mind.
💎 Prithvi Mudra (Earth Mudra)
Touch the tip of the ring finger to the tip of the thumb; keep other fingers extended. This mudra activates earth element (Capricorn's element), strengthens the body, nourishes the bones, and promotes stability. Hold during grounding breathwork or at the start of ritual.
🌸 Lotus Mudra (Padma Mudra)
Bring hands together at the heart center. Touch the pinky fingers and thumbs together, spreading the remaining fingers wide and apart like a blooming lotus. This is the mudra of the open heart — Cancer's highest expression. Hold when you are doing heart-opening work or heart toning.
✨ Dhyana Mudra (Meditation Mudra)
Rest the right hand on top of the left, both palms upward, thumbs lightly touching to form an oval. The classic meditation mudra used by the Buddha. Calms the thinking mind, invites reception, and creates a bowl-shaped energy field of receptivity. Hold during your full moon meditation.

SACRED GEOMETRY
Yantras to Contemplate
🔯 Chandra Yantra (Moon Yantra)
The Chandra Yantra is a sacred geometric grid used to honor and invoke lunar energy. It traditionally features a circle within which sits a six-pointed star (two interlocking triangles representing the divine masculine and feminine — the Cancer-Capricorn polarity made sacred geometry). Print, draw, or gaze upon a Chandra Yantra during your full moon meditation. Place it on your altar with a white candle and moonstone.
⬆️ Shri Yantra
The most powerful yantra in the Vedic tradition — nine interlocking triangles emanating from a central point (bindu), representing the creative unfolding of the cosmos from singularity to multiplicity. Meditating on the Shri Yantra is said to activate all 72,000 nadis (energy channels) in the body. On this full moon, it is especially powerful for activating the manifestation codes of abundance and legacy.
⬡ Flower of Life
The universal sacred geometry pattern — 19 overlapping circles creating a flower pattern that contains within it all of creation's geometric building blocks. Meditating on the Flower of Life activates the cellular memory of wholeness. Place it beneath your moon water or crystal grid tonight.

WITCHY RITUAL
The Strawberry Moon Ceremony
This full moon ritual weaves together the Capricorn earth magic and Cancer water magic for a complete release-and-receive ceremony. Ideal for a group, but powerful solo.
Cast Your Circle: Walk clockwise three times around your space, calling in the four directions. "To the East, I call Air — clarity of mind and truth of word. To the South, I call Fire — the courage of Capricorn's mountain. To the West, I call Water — Cancer's deep emotional knowing. To the North, I call Earth — the soil that receives all that we release and grows all that we plant."
Light Your Candles: One white (for the Moon), one deep green or black (for Capricorn/earth), one silver (for Cancer/water). Dress them with rose oil, vetiver, or frankincense before lighting.
Create Moon Water: Fill a glass vessel with clean water. Place rose quartz, clear quartz, and moonstone in or beside it. Set it where the moonlight will touch it. Speak your most important intention into the water, then seal with your breath.
Write Your Release List: On black paper in white or silver ink (or on parchment paper), write everything you are releasing under this moon. Be specific. Include emotions, patterns, relationships, beliefs, and identities. Burn it in your candle flame (safely) or bury it in the earth before midnight.
Write Your Calling-In List: On fresh white paper or in your moon journal, write in present-tense what you are claiming for the next six months (the Capricorn Full Moon six months from now is the peak manifestation point). Write as if it is already done: "I am..." "I have..." "I experience..."
Strawberry Moon Offering: Place fresh strawberries on your altar as an offering to the season, to abundance, to the harvest you are claiming. Eat one mindfully at the close of ceremony as a eucharist of sweetness — this is embodied manifestation. You ARE the harvest.
Anoint Your Body: Using rose absolute or frankincense diluted in carrier oil, anoint your crown (divine connection), third eye (clear seeing), throat (truth speaking), heart (love receiving), belly (creative power), and soles of feet (grounded embodiment).
Sit in Receiving: After all action, sit in stillness. 10–20 minutes of silent, open receptivity. The moon does not just demand action — she asks you to receive her light. Be still enough to feel it land in your cells.
Close the Circle: Walk counter-clockwise three times. Thank each direction. "Blessed be. The circle is open, but never broken. May the peace of this moon go in our hearts."

MOON FOLKLORE
Ancient Whispers of June's Moon
🍯 The Honeymoon Origin
The Honey Moon (Anglo-Saxon name for June's moon) is almost certainly the etymological origin of the word "honeymoon." In medieval Europe, June was the traditional wedding month — named for Juno, Roman goddess of marriage. Newlyweds would drink mead (fermented honey wine) for a full lunar cycle after their wedding, and that moon's cycle became the Honeymoon. This full moon is therefore one of the most relationship-potent of the year, carrying the ancient blessing of sacred union.
🌹 The Rose Moon & the Beloved
Celtic tradition held the Rose Moon as the moon of the Beloved — the rose being the flower of the heart, of the divine feminine, of Venus and Aphrodite. To pick roses by the light of June's full moon was considered the most powerful love magic available. The dew that collected on rose petals on the morning after the Rose Moon was considered to be the most potent beauty and healing water of the year.
🐣 Moon of Birthing (Inupiat & Tlingit)
For the peoples of the Pacific Northwest and Arctic regions, this moon marked the time when specific animals were born — seals, fish, birds. The Moon of Birthing carried the medicine of new life arriving after long darkness, of vulnerability honored and protected, of the sacred responsibility of those who witness new life entering the world. This is potent medicine for women's circles: we are all midwives of new life — our own and each other's.
🌕 European Superstitions & Folk Magic
In European folk traditions, looking at the full moon through a silk cloth or a bowl of water was believed to protect your eyesight while enhancing psychic vision. Washing your face in moon-bathed dew on the morning after the Full Moon was a common beauty ritual. Planting root vegetables by the waning Capricorn moon (the three days following this full moon) was considered the most auspicious time for deep-rooted growth. And sleeping with a piece of silver under your pillow on the night of the Full Moon was said to invite prophetic dreams.
